Blog Reflection

I chose to read the book Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. There were a few different reasons of why I chose to read this book. First of all, the cover itself looked like something i would like and i really liked the sound of the title. Sarah Dessen is a New York Times best selling author-so she must write great stories! Another reason why i wanted to read it was because the inside cover summary sounded interesting.... it's about a young teenage girl named annabel greene who was a cheerleader (like me), popular, well known, and had lots of friends at her highschool. But apparently this wasn't the case at home. Annabel had a sister who struggles with an eating disorder which occupies the family and all the drama of her life. As she goes through rough times at home, she tries to cover it up at school because she doesn't have the ability or confidence to tell anyone about it. Lastly, it meets the page requirements so that's good!- I'm really excited to read this book and i'm hoping it will be a good one!
